Rent directly with a landlord or through a letting agent, like ourselves.
Registering your details allows us to contact you when a suitable property becomes available.
When viewing properties take as long as you need to have a good look around. Check what items are included, especially if its currently let. If you have furniture to take with you remember to take the measurements to check they will fit in the necessary spaces. Confirm how the property is managed so you know who to contact should any maintenance issues arise.
Be ready for the application and checks.
We will carry out Referencing and Right to Rent checks, using Goodlord an independent specialist referencing company.
The first months rent and a security desposit needs to be paid before a tenancy starts. The deposit is held in a government approved tenancy deposit scheme.
We will prepare the tenancy agreement which will advise the rights and responsibilities for both tenant and landlord and will be signed by all parties. Electronic signatures is the preferred method
As you approach the end of your tenancy we will contact you to review your position. If the tenancy needs to be renewed we will complete the necessary paperwork.
When vacating a property at the end of your tenancy, the property is inspected and assuming there are no cleaning or repairs required, the deposit is returned to you in full. Should there be any cleaning or repairs we will work with the landlord to agree costs which would be deducted from your deposit before the balance is returned to you.
