What to do if you have an emergency


An Emergency is an urgent, unexpected, and usually dangerous situation that poses an immediate risk to health, life, property, or environment and requires immediate action.

Out of hours emergencies, such as:


  1. Smell of Gas call the National Gas Emergency service on 0800 111 999
  2. Broken windows or doors following a break in
  3. Severe water leaks - If water cannot be isolated via a mains water stop tap
  4. Loss of electrical power or light
  5. Blocked Drain - Blockage of your Only toilet


If you have an emergency out of office hours please call one of the associated contractors listed stating you rent with Silverwood Lettings Ltd.

They will attend your emergency situation.

If there is no answer please leave a message and the contractor will call you back asap.


For any other maintenance issues please call us during office hours.


If you call out one of our own out of hours contractors and the situation is deemed non emergency, charges may apply to the tenant.

If you arrange your own contractor any associated charges are liable to the tenant.
